Xampp

Bij de installatie van XAMPP kan de poort niet gevonden worden voor de Module Apache. Deze boodschap komt er dan te staan:

Wat zeggen de logs precies?

Maar als ik die logs wil bezien, moet ik Xampp eerst verwijderen en terug installeren of langs waar kan ik die bezien.

De apche pot is oke en de ssl port ook en toch kan ik de APPACHE niet starten

Volgens mij kent het Control Panel van XAMPP een LOGS-knopje?

Ik heb het in orde gekregen en Apche is aktief. Maar verdraaid ik weet al niet meer hoe ik het gedaan heb. Spijtig want anders zou ik het hier neerschrijven.

Waarschijnlijk zal er nóg een programma/service op poort 80 (en mogelijk ook poort 443) geluisterd hebben, bijv. een andere installatie van Apache, Internet Information Services (IIS) etc.
Ook zou het een aanpassing op je firewall-programmatuur kunnen zijn geweest, maar dat is veel minder waarschijnlijk dan wat ik in de vorige regel schreef.

Kan iemand helpen? Hoe wijzig ik die poortnummer nu eigenlijk?

Welke log file kan ik erbij doen.. er zijn er 3.

Kijk bij taakbeheer welke PID in de weg zit?

Waar kan ik dat vinden een PID. Staat dit zo vermeld bij Taakbeheer?

Hangt van de versie Windows af.
Bij XP staat de kolom PID standaard niet geactiveerd. Daar moet je dan in tabblad Processen van Taakbeheer kiezen voor Beeld -> Kolommen selecteren -> aanzetten: PID (proces-id)
Bij W8/W10 staat het (geloof ik) standaard wel aan, te zien in tabblad Details en in tabblad Services.

Overigens is het nogal verbazingwekkend dat Lode reageert terwijl alleen de inbreker in deze discussiedraad (=vacances2000) een PID vermeldt. Natuurlijk gelden alle tips van daarna ook voor vacances2000, dus ook wat ik in de eerste paragraaf vermeld heb.

@vacances2000: PID = Process id = het nummer wat Windows gebruikt om processen aan te duiden / uit elkaar te kunnen houden.
Start Apache opnieuw, kijk welke PID er genoemd wordt als de bezetter van poort 80 en 443, en zoek het proces bij die PID op in Taakbeheer. Dan weet je welke service poort 80 en 443 bezet houdt. Zou bijv. IIS (Internet Information Services) kunnen zijn, een andere Apache, mogelijk probeer je XAMPP 2x te starten zodat de eerder gestarte apache de poort bezet houdt etc.

Heb je toevallig skype aanstaan? Die combinatie zie je vaak Skype gebruikt namelijk poort 80.

Bovenaan zag ik de vraag hoe de Windows logboeken te vinden?
Ga naar Stat en typ: eventvwr.msc (of klik met rechts op Deze Computer, dan kies je Beheren).

Xampp werkend krijgen.

Hallo lezer,

bij Windows 10 lukte het (mij) niet om Xampp werkend te krijgen.
Windows gebruikt zelf poort 80 en het lukte mij niet om de poort te veranderen.
Via onderstaand stappenplan van "WM Diensten" lukte het wel!

XAMPP Stappenplan

Open uw XAMPP Controle paneel.
Bij de Apache module klikt u op Config kies hierbij Apache (httpd.conf).
Vervolgens zoekt u de lijn: Listen 80
Verander enkel de waarde 80 naar de gewenste poort nummer (aangeraden is 7777).
In hetzelfde bestand zoekt u vervolgens de lijn: ServerName localhost:80.
Deze waarde dient u hetzelfde te maken als stap 4, in mijn geval poort 7777.
Sla het bestand op en herstart Apache vervolgens.
Nu de apache weer opgestart is kunt u hem voortaan bereiken vanaf: http://localhost:7777 (of uw eigen poort nummer).

@Klaasen: Wat jij beschrijft is een workaround, niet een (echte) oplossing... [Alhoewel wel gewaardeerd dat je het gepost hebt, voor het geval vacances2000 zijn probleem niet echt wil oplossen maar met een workaround tevreden is.]
@vacances2000: Het is wel de bedoeling dat je wat doet met de tips die gegeven zijn én daarop een duidelijk terugmelding geeft per tip wat het opgeleverd heeft, of het probleem opgelost is etc.
