bios not installed

ik heb zelf een pc ineengestoken, alles werk perfect maar als ik opstart komt er elke keer opnieuw "No fasttrack device found. bios is not installed"

volgens de software van mijn moederbord is dit blijkbaar wel geinstalleerd, deze zegt
"version 1001.005
date : 02/09/2004
bios size : 512k bios type : AMI"

valt hier iets aan te doen?
ik ken nog iemand met +- hetzelfde systeem en hij heeft net hetzelfde maar hij werkt er toch al 5 maand probleemloos op.

en over welk moederbord heb je het ?

wel ik heb eigenlijk geen idee wat fasttrack is en kan hier ook niets over terugvinden in de handleiding van het moederbord

The message is an informational warning only. It may be ignored. Its purpose is to tell you that in case you thought you did attach drive(s) to any of these ports, they aren't being seen.

A different message format appears if the chip is set to IDE mode in the BIOS, but the meaning is the same.

If you do not want to see this message, either attach a hard drive to one of the ports, or go into your BIOS Setup utility and set your Onboard Promise Controller to
"Disabled".

Als je geen raid drive hebt

Hij zegt dat je geen raid drive hebt geïnstaleerd en heeft daarom het bios ook niet geladen.

Je kunt in je bios de raid (fasttrack) uitzetten, dan zeurt hij niet meer.
