Hoi

sinds ik xp erop heb is het alsof het systeem erg traag is.
Ik heb alle (denk ik ) overtollige rotzooi eraf dus???
Als ik outlook open duurt het ook al lang.
Wie heeft opties om het geheel sneller te laten lopen????
 
Processor, geheugen, hd groote, hd vrije ruimte.

Eigenlijk zoveel mogelijk info.

Heb je al gedefragmenteerd?

The problem is a real annoyance. When you start Outlook XP it should open your E-mail immediately and let you begin work. With Outlook XP you may experience a delay. Outlook starts and the spash screen stays up for about 5 seconds or so. What is causing this and how do you fix it?


The cause is MSN Messenger. The Messenger service is tied to the Outlook XP. This is probobly due to the fact that Exchange 2000 provides MSN instant messaging for the corporate use.

Here's how you fix the delay. Start Outlook XP. Go to Tools>Options>Other and deselect Enable Messenger. Now MSN Messenger will not try to connect during startup. Problem solved.

Disable Messenger and Speedup Outlook Express

There are various ways of disabling Windows Messenger from automatically starting, but they all have some drawbacks. Until now. Namely, if you disable Messenger, OE takes forever to load if you have the Contacts pane enabled.

Go to: Start/Run/Regedit and navigate to this key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Outlook Express

Add a New, DWord value called Hide Messenger and set the value to 2.
(This step is required to prevent a long delay when opening OE with the Contacts pane enabled).

Heb je de posting van JOZO over startups al doorgenomen?
 
Ah..

Ga eens naar start, uitvoeren en typ daar in msconfig en druk op OK. Ga naar tabblad opstarten.

Daar staan een aantal regels in en vergelijk die met http://www.sysinfo.org/startuplist.php en vink uit wat er uitgevinkt mag en kan worden
