.) Download a copy of VirtualDub and load the movie into it.
2.) Set the video to "Direct Stream copy" so that you don't reencode
the video.
3.) Go into the audio settings, select "Full processing mode," then
select "volume." Increase the volume (Up to 985%(!)).
4.)Select an audio compression format (Like MP3).
5.) Now save out the new AVI under a new name and VirtualDub will make
a file with the same video and louder audio.
Simple.
