wmp speel helemaal niks af

ik heb nu windows media player 10 en het speelt helemal nix af geen muziek en geen video's.ik heb al geprobeert codecs te downloaden, windows media player 9 er op zetten mar nix lukt :( wat kan het zijn en wat kan ik eraan doen??
 
ja het probleem is gewoon die windows media player want bij alles geeft het deze foutmelding:
"Er is een onbekende fout opgetreden. Dit kan gebeuren wanneer een ander programma of een onderdeel van het besturingssysteem een fout aantreft en vervolgens geen informatie over de aard van het probleem doorgeeft aan Windows Media Player."

en als ik dan druk op meer informatie komt er dit te staan :

dat wou ik gister doen maar toen kwam ik er opeens achter dat onze computer niet legitieme windows heeft ofsoiets, hoe dat kan snap ik ook niet.en daardoor kan ik ni\nu ook geen sp2 op onze computer zeten.

De foutmelding betreft een onbekende fout, dus dat zegt niet zoveel.

Maar een illegale versie zonder XP2 : dan wordt het wel heel moeilijk een oorzaak te zoeken !

Hier: http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html staat onder het kopje "mediaplayer 10" ongeveer alles wat er mis kan zijn.

Maar met een illigale versie kun je een aantal update's niet downloaden, dus......

Als het wel een legale versie van XP is, even naar Microsoft bellen.

ik heb niet voor windows betaald ik heb mijn computer tweedehans gekocht met windows erop en ik heb nooit gemerkt dat het illegal versie van windows is. zou ik dan veel geld kwijt zijn aan het kopen van legale windows xp

ik had microsofft gebeld paar dingen gedaan en me windows is nu legaal en ik heb sp2 en windows media player 11 maar hij doet het nog steeds niet .ik kan geen muziek afspelen wel films

Probeer eens vanuit WMP een bestand te openen (bestand > openen) .

Wat gebeurt er eigenlijk als je iets probeert af te spelen, krijg je foutmeldingen ?

Heb je misschien laatst nog een andere player geinstalleerd ?

dat bestand > openen zo speelt ie het ook niet af.

als ik iets wil afspelen komt er dit te staan:

dat heb ik allemaal geprobeert maar hij doet het nog steeds niet diw windows media player speelt alleen filmpjes. en die liedjes zijn ook gewoongoed want met itunes , total video player en die speler van nero kan ik ze wel gewoon luisteren.
 
ja daar heb ik ook gewoon geluid bij echt alleen muziek doet het niet
 
ja mp3 doen het niet maar wma heb ik net ook gekeken en die doet het ook niet
 
Is een zeer veel voorkomende fout, ik ben nog voor je aan het zoeken.
Heb je nu je legaal bent wel gelijk alle windows updates binnengehaald ?
