Brander gelockt?

Ik wil een image op een DVD+RW branden (een lege), maar krijg een melding alsof het lijkt dat de brander gelocked is. Raar, want ik heb niets vreemds gedaan. Iemand een idee wat het probleem kan zijn?

Mijn brander is een LG HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-H58N. Tot op heden heeft ie het prima gedaan. Maar nu in een keer niet meer. Ik heb ook verscheidene programma's gebruikt (DVD shrink, Nero 7, Image Burn, Alcohol 120%), maar niets werkte.

Wat '"zegt" de brander als je één of ander .doc naar die RW wil branden?

Wanneer ik een .doc wil branden zegt ie dat ik een schijf erin moet stoppen. Raar... er zit er al een in.

Maar... wanneer ik een film op een gewone lege DVD brandt, gaat het perfect. Alleen op een DVD+RW niet meer....

In de tussentijd ook een firmwareupdate gedaan, maar dat hielp ook niet. Wat zou het dan zijn?

Is die DVD+RW misschien een ander merk dan je gewone dvd's??

Nee. Het zijn TDK's waar al tig keer op is gebrand. En Sony's waar een aantal maal nu iets op geschreven is. De laatste keer (vorig weekend) werkte ze nog perfect.

De gewone DVD's varieren van Platinum tot Philips.

Ik herken het probleem, heb het (soms) ook met DVD-RW (Philips). Ondanks een "leeg" maak optie (terwijl er niets op staat) binnen Nero, blijft de DVD onbruikbaar.

Enige brandtool die dan nog werkt (soms) is branden met Windows.

Misschien dat het volgende behulpzaam is

Klinkt dit bekend?

Edit: er wordt overigens hierin gesproken over Windows XP, maar ik werk met Vista.

Ik heb het vermoeden dat het probleem opgelost is

Ik heb in Alcohol 120% onder Bestand -> Opties -> Emulatie een tweetal opties uitgevinkt: Negeer Media Type en Start CD/DVD beheer...
Het gevolg was dat ie de DVD-RW fatsoenlijk kon wissen.
Daarna met DVD Shrink de bestanden proberen te branden, et voila. Het werkte!!!

Ik vraag me alleen af of dit DE methode is omdat ik die vinkjes niet heb aangezet in Alcohol 120%. Daarnaast ging wissen via Nero ook niet.

Maar ja. Het ziet er naar uit dat het issue is opgelost.
