oude epson printer werkt niet onder windows 10

Helaas heeft epson geen driver voor mijn oude stylus photo 750 printer voor windows 10. Wel is er een driver voor windows 98; die heb ik proberen in de comptabilieitsmodus te installeren maar dat werkte niet. De printer zit op een USB-poort van mijn laptop. Wie weet raad?
 
Deze Driver Toolkit kost 29,90; is dat het geld waard?
 
Zou in Win10 update moeten zitten

Deze Driver Toolkit kost 29,90; is dat het geld waard?

Nee, niet. Maar de twee download links die bedoeld worden, voor Windows 10 32 of 64 bits, staan onder die alinea. Het moet altijd zo ingewikkeld zijn dat iemand geld kan verdienen aan een verkeerde keuze. De meeste driver sites verzinnen ook maar wat om jou daarnaartoe te lokken. Wees voorzichtig.

Lange Pier: waar zie jij de driver voor W10S op de Epson-site staan? Misschien kan je een link sturen want ik kan hem niet vinden.
Maestro12: deze update uit 2006 is niet meer beschikbaar.
Alfred2: ik heb inderdaad via de onderste link kunnen downloaden maar unzippen lukt niet tenzij ik een betaalde versie van Winzip koop (mijn gratis probeerperiode was afgelopen); is er nog een andere manier op te unzippen?
 
Het bestand pakt Windows 10 uit wanneer u in het contextmenu kiest "Alles uitpakken..." Het werkt bij mij. Desondanks, of voor wanneer de keuze Alles uitpakken... er bij u niet meer is: ik gebruik het programma 7-Zip altijd, omdat in het contextmenu al staat 7-Zip > Uitpakken (hier) en nog meer handige keuzes.
 
Ik heb het bestand kunnen uitpakken maar de printer reageert nog steeds niet. Toen ik Windows 10 pas had geïnstalleerd deed hij het nog wèl. Het ligt volgens mij niet aan de printer want op mijn eveneens bejaarde desktop met Windows XP doet hij het wèl...
 
versie 2004; ik lees dat er nog een bugfix beschikbaar komt..

Vraag is niet opgelost; voorlopig print ik uit via een bluetoothverbinding met mijn oude Windows XP desktop.
 
Bedankt voor de tip. Ik heb de update versie 2004 gedownload maar krijg de melding dat hij niet geschikt is voor mijn computer als ik hem wil installeren...
