What is FRITZ!NAS?
•	With FRITZ!NAS you can make your files available throughout the entire home network. The files can be saved safely in the storage media connected to the FRITZ!Box or connected with the FRITZ!Box online. With FRITZ!NAS and MyFRITZ! you can access your data from anywhere - from any computer or mobile device.
•	Be it for fast access from a device at home (fritz.nas), for convenient access from computers in the home network (Windows sharing / SMB) or from on the go (MyFRITZ! or FTP), the FRITZ!Box offers you many options to access your data from anywhere at any time.
•	Using the sharing function of fritz.nas it is possible to grant third parties access to files and folders through a http link.
•	Thanks to the FRITZ!Media server you have access to your media data from any device in the entire house, using established standars like UPNP/DLNA (TV, mobile device, wireless LAN radio ...) without complicated configuration. With an Android cell phone you use the FRITZ!App Media to play back media files or control other devices.
•	Thanks to the USB ports on the FRITZ!Box you can also use a printer with multiple PCs without having to replug any cables.
•	You can listen to your music everywhere in the home on your telephone (with FRITZ!Fon), send music to your stereo system (with the FRITZ!WLAN Repeater N/G) or use USB sticks on the FRITZ!Box like locally connected devices (FRITZ!VPN). With the FRITZ!Box as network memory there are many options for using your data more conveniently and flexibly.
How do I use fritz.nas?
Storing files
With the "Copy from my device to FRITZ!NAS" button you transfer files to this memory. With "Copy from FRITZ!NAS to my device" you download files from FRITZ!NAS. You can also open images, music, videos and documents directly.
Permit Access
Using the FRITZ!NAS sharing function it is fast and easy to grant other users access to files and folders by means of a http link.
Security
Access to the data in FRITZ!NAS can be protected by a user name and password. Password protection for the users is configured in the "System / FRITZ!Box Password" area of the FRITZ!Box user interface
