Hallo, zoals de titel suggereert, zegt mijn virtuele schijf (Google Drive (G: )) op mijn laptop dat hij 16 GB heeft gebruikt, terwijl de map erin (My Drive) slechts 9 MB in beslag neemt en mijn Drive for Desktop (cloud-drive of web-drive) 2,2 GB in beslag neemt.
Ik heb contact opgenomen met support en zij zeiden het volgende (heb de belangrijkste reacties gequote):
"As per the specialist you see that there is a huge difference on the storage because the virtual drive will reflect your local storage, it's purpose is mainly to let the users aware of how much storage is available locally if they decide to give offline access to the files since the virtual drive is mainly used for streaming which only use cache files to reflect the files shown on Google Drive web."

Na meer dan een uur chatten ben ik nog steeds in de war over waar de 16 GB vandaan komt en waarom ik het niet kan zien of verwijderen. Volgens de support is dit laatste namelijk niet mogelijk.. Heeft iemand anders hetzelfde probleem gehad of kan iemand dit misschien ophelderen? Of is het normaal dat web drives een vaste ruimte innemen na een tijdje gebruik?
Edit: Misschien nog handig om er bij te vermelden is dat ik de prullenbak in de web drive al heb opgeschoond.
