Andere pagina default page ipv Joomla

Beste mensen,

Ik heb een joomla sitetje gemaakt, maar nu wil ik ipv de index.php van Joomla, een andere pagina (index.htm) als default page. Hoe kan ik dit instellen?

bedoel je dit??

voeg de DirectoryIndex toe aan je .htaccess file bijvoorbeeld:

(DirectoryIndex index.html index.php)

dit zet index.html als standaard index pagina en zorgt ervoor dat de server terug valt op index.php als index.html niet word weergeven...

ik snap er zelf geen bal van maar hopelijk heb je er wat aan.

is het inderdaad wel wat jij bedoelt, wanneer je nu naar mijn website gaat kom je automatisch op index.php, maar ik zou dus graag willen dat hij naar index.htm gaat.

Maar moet ik dan, DirectoryIndex index.html index.php, toevoegen in mijn htaccess.txt bestand?

Zie hier wat je moet doen.
Als het bestand echt index.htm is (dus niet index.html), dan dus in .htaccess toevoegen:
DirectoryIndex index.htm index.html index.php

(eerst wordt dan gekeken of een index.htm bestaat, en die wordt dan aangeroepen, bestaat die niet, dan wordt geprobeerd om index.html te laten, bestaat die ook niet, dan wordt geprobeerd om index.php te laden).

Op welke plek moet ik dit dan invoegen? Dit staat er al in min htaccess.txt bestand:

Let op: het is niet niet .htaccess.txt, maar het bestand heet .htaccess
Lijkt er dus sterk op dat je eerst (via ftp of zo) de naamgeving van het bestand moet gaan veranderen naar .htaccess in de hoofdmap van je webserver.
