Automatische reboot

Als ik GTA San Andrea speel dan reboot mijn systeem automatische, het is echter niet zo dat het altijd op een vast punt gebeurd. Soms al in het filmpje, als dat niet zo is is het wel binnen een minuut nadat ik het speel.

Bij vorige GTA versies had ik hier ook soms last van, maar dan was het soms nadat ik het al een paar uur had gespeeld, in ieder geval nooit zo snel en lang niet zo vaak.

Ik had een vermoeden dat de temperatuur van mn systeem te hoog oploopt bij het spelen van dat spel. Maar ook na het installeren van een programmatje dat als het goed is gaat piepen bij een te hoge temperatuur hoor ik niets. Buiten het spel is mn 'case' 46 graden en is mijn CPU 36graden.

Systeem eigenschappen:
Intel P4, 3000MHz
512MB (DDR SDRAM)
ATI Radeon 9800 XXL

Ik heb al chipset driver update gedaan en ook videokaart update....

Als je xp hebt>Ga naar Rmuisknop deze computer>eigenschappen>geavanceerd>opstart en herstelinstellingen>instellen>deze computer opnieuw opstarten.
Hier het vinkje wegnemen.
Ipv opnieuw opstarten krijg je als het goed is een foutmelding waarom je pc opnieuw opstart.
Post die foutmelding hier.

Als ik dat doe krijg ik een blauw scherm op het moment dat hij normaal zou rebooten. Het vreemde van dit blauwe scherm is echter dat er geen tekst stond. Het was eenvolledig blauw scherm, niets meer en niets minder.

Deze melding krijg ik als ik de computer weer aan zet:

To work around this issue, follow these steps:
1. Click Start, click Control Panel, and then double-click Display.
2. On the Settings tab, click Advanced, and then click the Troubleshoot tab.
3. Move the Hardware Acceleration slider to None, and then click to clear the Enable Write Combining check box.
4. Click OK, and then click OK.

Note This procedure prevents the display driver from programming the hardware incorrectly, but you may lose some display functionality and performance. Although you can increase the hardware acceleration settings higher than None to regain functionality and performance, these settings increase the chance that the issue will occur again. For maximum stability, leave hardware acceleration off.

Dat had ik nog niet gedaan...

Maar nu kan ik GTA SA niet eens meer opstarten, als ik het open gebeurd er helemaal niets. Ik heb toen mijn computer gerestart, en toen windows weer was opgestart kreeg ik deze melding:

ik denk dat je je beeldschermbesturing moet herinstalleren(drivers voor je videokaart, maar eerst verwijderen en dan pas instaleren!!!)

al een keeer gedaan... toch nog een keer geprobeerd...

weer zonder resultaat

Dit is een bekend ATI probleem. De ATI kaarten werken niet allemaal even goed op de standaard instellingen van elk moederbord. Oplossing is de BIOS van het mobo te flashen naar de meest recente versie.

Dus naar site van moederbord fabrikant en en nieuwe BIOS downloaden en flashen. Wel goed instructies lezen.
