Bluetooth software vind de hardware niet

Op mijn HP pavilion zt3024 hoort bluetooth te zitten. Volgens mijn hardware lijst is er een compoort voor bluetooth (standaard serieel) echter de software detecteerd deze poort niet.
Ik heb de software geupdate via de HP site, de hardware verwijderd en weer opnieuw geinstalleerd maar zonder resultaat

weet iemand hoe ik hier verder kom

Ik neem aan dat je met hardware de Bleutooth dongle bedoeld?Bekijk bijlage Bleutooth Installatie.doc
Bijgaande bijlage is een volledige gebruiksaanwijzing voor het installeren van een Bleutooth apparaat, let met name op het deel ingeval je Windows XP met SP2 gebruikt.

Ik heb de labtop gekocht met de veronderstelling dat er een bluetooth apparaat in zat.
Als ik het apparaatbeheer kijk staat er niks over een radio. Er staat een standaard serieel via een bluetoothverbinding(com6)
En het apparaat werkt volgens de info van windows goed???

Ik heb de labtop gekocht met de veronderstelling dat er een bluetooth apparaat in zat.

De software kan er in zitten maar een bleutooth dongel gaat in een USB poort, die moet je kopen, die zit er nooit standaard in. (dit is de hardware). Als je een bleutooth dongel koopt zit daar ook een CD-R bij met de nieuwste bleutooth software. Zonder die dongel heb je niks aan je bleutooth en is er ook geen verbinding te maken met andere bleutooth apparaten.

Dit is dus niet het geval in deze laptop zit de hardware een bluetooth aparaat.
Ik ben er ondertussen achter dat het te maken heeft met de een windows update voor xp.
onderstaande text heb ik van de hp-site. Echter zelfs als ik dit doe lukt het mij niet om het apparaat weer aan de praat te krijgen.

When a notebook is configured to automatically download and install updates from Microsoft´s Windows Update, the Bluetooth hardware may not function after certain updates. The Windows Update function may install Microsoft versions of the Bluetooth software and drivers that are incompatible with HP products.
Solution
Perform one or more of the methods to correct the Bluetooth update problem.
Method 1: Re-install HP Bluetooth software

Method 1: Re-install HP Bluetooth software
Do the following steps to uninstall the Microsoft software and re-install the Bluetooth by HP software.
Click Start, Control Panel, then Add or Remove Programs.
From the list, Click Remove next to the Microsoft Bluetooth Drivers.
Once the drivers have been removed, click Start, Help and Support then Update Software & Drivers.
When prompted, click System Health Check. When presented with a listing of Updates for Driver, Bios and Software, select HP Bluetooth software.
Follow the prompts to install the software.
Method 2: Review Windows updates before installation
Do the following steps to prevent Windows from automatically installing incompatible Bluetooth drivers in the future.
Open the Windows Update site and under the Automatic Update section click Pick a time to install updates.
On the Automatic Updates window, click More Options.
Select the Download updates for me, but let me choose when to install them option and click OK to accept the change.
In the future, when presented with a list of updates, do not install any Windows Bluetooth updates.
