COGNOS Impromtu 7.2

Geachte Allemaal,

Ik probeer een imr bestand te openen in COGNOS Impromtu versie 7.2

Echter krijg ik de volgende melding:

Error number -45:

DMS-E-YV_SGINOTSUPP, The database type 'attach database' associated with the database name '?' is not supported.
DMS-E-DBDLL_NOTFOUND, The dynamic link library '<unknown>, check INI file' could not be located in the search path or one of its dependent dynamic link libraries failed to load.

Op een andere server staat de zelfde versie geinstalleerd en hier werkt hij prima. Hij opent het bestand gewoon goed.

Hoe krijg ik dit database type aan de praat?

Deze oplossing heb ik al geprobeerd.

found in the search path.
ERROR # -45
DMS-E-YV_SGINOTSUPP, The database type 'attach database' associated with the database
name '2' is not supported.
Information
This error occurs when you install a new version of Impromptu that connects to ORACLE 7.3.4
using Net 8..

Solution
This version of Impromptu does not support the data source connection to Oracle 7.3.4 using
Net 8. The cogdmor.ini file, located in the <drive>:\Program Files\Cognos\cer2\bin folder, must
be modified in a text editor such as WordPad or Notepad.
• Add the following into the COGDMOR.INI file, in the [DLL Names] section
OR815-Win32=ORACLIENT8.DLL,8.1
