Compaq Presario 900 accu

Even een vraagje
Ik heb een Compaq Presaio 900 series (laptop). De accu gaat niet zo heel lang meer mee
Nou weet ik uit ervaring dat andere laptops in de bios een accu calibratie hebben ingebouwd maar ik kan dat bij de presario niet vinden.
Is er een apart programmatje ofzo om de accu opnieuw te calibreren. Ik meen dat ik ooit een oude presario heb gehad waarbij dat op de 1 of andere manier wel kon

Graag uw mening en wellicht mensen met een Presario die me opweg kunnen helpen

Op de website van Compaq kan je onder "support" van alles downloaden, van drivers tot utilities. Kijk eens of je daar iets mee kan. Misschien ontbreekt het programma op jouw laptop en kan je het daar downloaden en installeren.

Ik heb daar al gekeken maar daar staat alleen bios updates en drivers voor geluidskaart en video kaart helaas

Refresh the Windows power management
Windows power management controls the battery usage for your notebook PC. Reinstall power management by following these steps.
Connect the AC power adapter to the notebook then remove the battery.
Restart the notebook PC in Windows Safe Mode by repeatedly pressing the F8 key when the HP or Compaq logo appears. Select Safe Mode from the Startup Menu by using the arrow keys.
In Safe Mode, click Start then right-click My Computer . Select Properties from the list.
Click the Hardware tab then click the Device Manager button.
Click the plus sign next to System Devices then remove the listings for ACPI Power Button and ACPI System Button .
NOTE: Your notebook PC may have a listing for Advanced Power Management Support instead of the ACPI buttons. In this case you will need to remove all listings for Advanced Power Management Support.

Restart the notebook a few times to make sure the devices that were removed are properly reinstalled. During the reinstall, if a prompt for the Windows Operating System CD appears, select Specify Location then type C: to allow Windows to locate the necessary drivers.
After the devices are reinstalled, turn the notebook off then reinsert the battery. Test again to see if the battery charges more efficiently.

Wat mij vanavond opvalt is dat windows aangeeft dat de accu leeg is en schakelt zich zelf uit.
In de energie opties van windows heb ik dat eens allemaal uitgezet, en jawel de laptop gaat in slaap stand.
Nadat ie uit de slaap stand komt werkt de laptop probleem loos nog altijd op de accu zonder uit te gaan ??!!!
Dus de accu is weldegelijk vol.. alleen windows geeft aan van niet maar de laptop gaat al meer dan een uur zo mee zonder stroom.
Maar goed wil ik een dvd opstarten dan komt windows weer aan nee dat kan niet omdat de accu leeg is.. maar die is niet leeg.

Wat kan ik hier aan doen??

Heb ik al gedaan inderdaad

Maar ik heb de waarschuwingen uitgezet op accu enzo in windows en de accu staat nu al 2 uur te draaien met winamp muziek
Alleen filmpje gaat niet dat geeft ie aan dat de accu laag is.. dan kan dus niet hahah want dat ding staat al 2 uur op accu te winampen

Wederom vandaag getest. Alle waarhuwingen bij windows uitgezet omdat ie dan de laptop uit gooit zeg maar en het accu icoontje onder bij de tijd staat op 0% met een streep erdoor.
Maar vervolgens heb ik bijna 2 uur nog gebruik kunnen maken van de laptop (op accu)
Dus ergens zit er iets niet goed in windows en het accu niveau.
Ik heb een verse windows xp installatie gedaan en daarna deed ie zo raar.
Van te voren deed ie dat ook al, maar ik wilde het uitsluiten door windows opnieuw te installeren maar het probleem blijft.
Ik kan wel werken maar het is zo lastig dat je sommige handelingen niet kan doen zoals dvd kijken omdat windows zegt nee nee de accu is leeg. terwijl ik wel 2 uur lang mp3'tjes kan afspelen

Hoe kan ik dit probleem toch oplossen?

Ik heb nu het programma batter doubler geinstalleerd, die kan de accu opnieuw kalibreren schijnt.
Nu staat ie dus te kalibreren, hoe lang duurt zoiets ??? duurt werg lang nu.
En de laptop staat alleen maar warme lucht uit te stoten alsof die oververhit is.

Heb de accu uiterraard in de laptop zitten met de stroom erop.

Heb hem inmiddels weer uit gezet de laptop stond de hele tijd te blazen (ventilator) en werd ontzettend warm aan de onderkant (niet de accu).. Of hoort dit zo bij rekalibreren van de accu?>
