Ik heb een vraagje.
Ik heb de originele Sims2 geinstalleerd.
Als ik wil opstarten, krijg ik steeds de boodschap:
"cd-/dvd-emulatiesoftware gevonden. Schakel alle cd-/dvd-emulatiesoftware uit en herstart het spel."
Nu stond Alcohol 120% op mijn harddisk. Die heb ik er al afgegegooid, want daar zit een virtuele dvd-speler in.
Wat kan ik nu nog verder doen?
Wie kan me helpen!!!

ten eerste aan alcohol kan het niet liggen want daar draait het bij mij door dus di kan je weer installeren.

wij hadden via ctrl-alt-del alles proggies stuk voor stuk uitgezet en een een of ander lsass.exe (als ik het me goed herriner uitgezet en toen deed hij het goed

Ik heb geprobeerd lsass.exe uit te zetten in"windows taakbeheer/processen."
Als ik dat wil doen, krijg ik de boodschap: "Dit is een essentieel systeemproces. Dit proces kan niet in Taakbeheer worden afgesloten."
Wat nu?

Persoonlijk zou ik zeggen dat het daar niet aan zou mogen liggen, maar klik maar rustig op proces beindigen, het ergste wat er kan gebeuren is dat je pc vastloopt, en dan boot je opnieuw.

Het laat zich niet verwijderen. Dit onderstaand bericht krijg ik.

ik weet niet meer zeker dat dat het bestandje was.
maar je moet ze gewoon allemaal even proberen.

Ik heb alle processen afgesloten waar mijn naam bij staat. Toch krijg ik steeds nog dezelfde foutmelding.

klopt dit spel heeft moeite met pc`s waar emulatie software op draait.

This error is presented when active CD Emulation software is detected by the copy protection on the game CD. This software must be disabled for The Sims 2 to launch properly. It is very common for CD/DVD copying software to include such software as a suite of products, so you will need to make sure that if your CD/DVD copying software includes such software that it is disabled as well.

Below is a list of software that is known as, or known to include CD Emulation Software that could potentially prevent the game from playing properly:

Fantom CD Emulator
Alcohol 120%
Nero Image Drive
Phantom CD
Clone CD
Ark Virtual Drive
If you are unsure about how to turn off emulation settings, consult your emulation program help files. If you have emulation software not listed above that does not provide adequate information about how to turn off emulation to avoid software conflicts, and then remove the software from your machine.

Here are a few examples:

If Alcohol 120% is on the machine:

Start Alcohol and go to the Emulation Options.
Select “Emulation” from the options tree. Uncheck the “Ignore Media Types” box to turn off the media type emulation, exit Alcohol 120% and restart the game application.
Select “Extra Emulation” from the options tree. Uncheck the “BAD Sectors Emulation” to turn off this type of emulation, exit Alcohol 120% and restart the game.
If CloneCD is on the machine:

Look on your task bar at the bottom right of your screen (next to the clock). Locate the CloneCD tray icon, which can be a picture of two CD-ROMs or of a sheep’s head . Right Click on the icon and make sure "Hide CD-R media" is un-ticked. Restart the game application.
If Daemon Tools is on the machine:

Select the icon at the bottom of the status bar of windows.
Find the Daemon Tools Icon
Right Click on the Daemon Tools icon in the Task Bar.
Select the Emulation tab.
Deselect SafeDisc.
