DVD-brander brandt geen TDK-schijfjes?

Hoi iedereen,

Ik heb sinds een jaar ofzo een dvd-brander van LG (de LG GSA-4167B). De laatste tijd ben ik wat actiever met het branden van dvd's (ik gebruik altijd +r). Dat ging prima (ik gebruikte het merk Arita), totdat ik overstapte naar TDK-dvd's. Dit lukt dus niet, want telkens wanneer hij bijna klaar is met branden, geeft hij een foutmelding aan. Dit is twee keer gebeurd, bij twee verschillende films.

Ik brand met het programma DVD-shrink, op schrijfsnelheid 4x. Dat deed ik ook al met dat vorige merk dat ik gebruikte. Weet iemand hoe het kan dat hij dan geen TDK-schijfjes brandt?

Ik had ook al geprobeerd om de nieuwste firmware te downloaden voor m'n brander (maar die bleek ik al te hebben).

Hopelijk kan iemand me helpen, en heb ik niet voor niks een hele spindle van TDK gekocht...
 
Je kunt kijken of er een firmware update voor je brander is, die de ondersteuning voor TDK schijfjes heeft. Kennelijk kan je brander niet goed met TDK overweg.
 
Jeetje bestaat dit probleem nog steeds dat bepaalde branders niet overweg kunnen met bepaalde merken schijfjes.

Je bent de eerste sinds lange tijd waarvan ik weer van dit probleem hoor.

Nou ken ik de LG GSA-4167B niet, maar is dit al een wat ouder type brander ??
 
Zover ik weet heeft elke merk nog steeds z'n eigen voorkeur wat lege schijfjes betreft. Ik hou het dan ook op 1 merk, waarvan ik weet dat het goed werkt. Overstappen naar een ander merk lege schijfjes heeft in mijn ogen weinig zin.

Ik had al de nieuwste firmware, maar voor de zekerheid maar toch gewoon geupdate. Werkt nog steeds niet. Ik was van plan om weer terug te gaan naar Arita, maar nou heb ik weer gelezen dat dat niet zo'n goed merk blijkt te zijn. Nou weet ik er zelf ook niet zoveel vanaf... Ik gebruik ook liever een A-merk (vandaar dat ik TDK had gekocht), mja, die zijn toch iets duurder, en als het niet zo heel veel beter is...

Volgens mij is de brander zelf idd al iets van 2 jaartjes oud. Maar omdat ie t nog gewoon doet, heb ik ook geen zin om een nieuwere aan te schaffen.


Edit:
Heb nu de foutcode die hij geeft na het branden. Het mislukt bij het schrijven van de phase out.

Topic kan trouwens wel gesloten worden anders. Gebruik wel gewoon andere dvd's. Heb er nu toch 1 gevonden die het wel doet. Thnx iig.
