Hoe de mousepad uitschakelen ? (dell inspirion 6000)

Hallo een ieder,
Ik zit al een tijd te zoeken hoe ik mijn mousepad van de laptop kan uitschakelen.Ik werk altijd met mijn optische muis,en het is super vervelend als je elke keer met je vingers dat pad aanraakt en de cursor verspringt.Zelf bij Dell zelf wist de dame het niet,wel heb ik hem nu heel traag kunnen krijgen maar nog niet uitgeschakeld dus.Het is dus een Dell laptop Inspirion 6000.

1. Change the Pointing Device setting in the Dell™ portable System Setup (BIOS) to PS/2 Mouse.


Dell portable systems have a BIOS setting labeled Pointing Device (Example 1). This setting has three options:

1) Serial Mouse enables the use of a serial mouse and disables the internal touch pad.
2) PS/2 Mouse disables the internal touch pad when an external PS/2 mouse is connected.
3) Touch Pad - PS/2 Mouse (default setting) enables the use of the internal touch pad and PS/2 mouse simultaneously.

Change the setting to PS/2 Mouse to disable the internal touch pad when a PS/2 mouse is connected.

Hallo muurhond,
Ik tot 2 keer in mijn bios gekeken maar niks gevonden wat leek op pointing device of moet ik eerst nog iets anders doen?

Is er nu wel of geen oplossing om de mousepad uit te schakelen?
Dat kreng zit me maar in de weg......:shocked:
