Indeo codec

Doordat ik WIN XP SP1 heb geïnstalleerd zijn er Indeo codecs die niet meer meegeleverd zijn. Misschien zelfs wel verwijderd.

With the September 2002 update to Windows XP (known as Service Pack 1), Microsoft suspended distribution of the Indeo codecs as a base part of its operating system. This only affects users with new PCs that are shipping with Windows XP Service Pack 1, or clean installs of Windows XP SP1 on an older system. Unfortunately, a number of game and multimedia titles require Indeo to be installed on the OS in order to function.

Nu heb ik geen zin om $14.95 te betalen voor deze codes. Weet er iemand alternatieven?
Het is toch van de zotte dat ik nu moet gaan betalen voor het gebruik van codecs die ik eerst gratis mocht gebruiken.

Ligos Indeo Codecs:
These codecs come with Apple QuickTime 4.0 and 5.0 - Windows and Macintosh
Windows Media player should automatically download the codecs

But just incase:

Select - Indeo Video 3.2, 4.5, 5.11, and Indeo Audio 2.5 Codecs - Click Next
Fill in the information and un-check the box - Click Next
Click Download
On the final page - choose a site to download from.
Do the minimal compact installation.
