Linux en RAID0

Hallo

Ik wil graag Linux Ubuntu installeren. Maar ik heb een groot probleem, en dat is m'n intel RAID opstelling (ICHR10). Momenteel draaien er 2 schijven in RAID0 en dit wil ik zo houden.
Ubuntu echter ziet deze 2 schijven niet. Is er een driver (net als bij Windows) die zorgt dat de schijven wel gezien worden?

Ik ben helemaal nieuw met Linux

PC Specificaties:

Moederbord: Gigabyte P55-UD3
Processor : Intel Core i5 750
Videokaart: ATI HD4830

Vaak is dit soort raid eigenlijk fakeraid oftewel softwarematige raid. (http://linuxmafia.com/faq/Hardware/sata.html)
De normale ubuntu cd heeft geen support voor fakeraid aan boord, de 'alternate' install cd wel.
Ook die kan je gewoon van de site van ubuntu downloaden, volgens het artikel wordt intel ich5/6 ondersteunt.
Maar dat artikel is al erg oud, dus gewoon proberen is het makkelijkste.

Linux RAID0

Redundant array of inexpensive disks levee 0 used for a striping that means without party.. The simplest RAID level, RAID 0 should really be called AID, since it involves no redundancy. Files are broken into stripes of a size dictated by the user-defined stripe size of the array, and stripes are sent to each disk in the array.

Giving up redundancy allows this RAID level the best overall performance characteristics of the single RAID levels, especially for its cost. For this reason, it is becoming increasingly popular by performance-seekers, especially in the lower end of the marketplace.
