maxtor als slave instellen

Ik heb een maxtor HD die ik als slave wil gaan gebruiken. Welek jumper setting moet ik gebruiken. Op de site zie ik de volgende informatie staan:

(Slave)
No jumper is required to configure the drive as a Slave.
The jumper over the J44 and J42 positions is in the jumper storage position.

(Slave with CLJ)
The jumper over the J44 and J42 positions is in the jumper storage position.
The jumper over the J46 pins is in the Cylinder Limitation position (CLJ

Wat is het verschil tussen die twee?????

Als een moederbord een bepaalde capaciteit niet aankan dan kan je dmv de jumpers op cjl te zetten de capaciteit verminderen van de hard disk...
Nu neem ik aan dat jouw pc die schijf wel aan kan dus hoef je geen jumper te gebruiken op je maxtor schijf
