Ik krijg steeds de volgende foutmelding:

Warning: mysql_connect(): Client does not support authentication protocol requested by server; consider upgrading MySQL client in /home/yoram18/public_html/test/lib/mysql.lib on line 7



Wat is er nou mis, naar mijn inziens is alles in orde.
Ik heb het bestand als bijlage toegevoegd.

Zo te zien heb je gelijk
Ik heb momenteel MySQL version 4.1.9-standard even kijken hoe ik dit ga update

Klopt, PHP5 is atm de enige PHP versie die de nieuwe authenticatiemethode ondersteunt. Dit betekent niet dat je vanaf heden over moet stappen op PHP5.
Je kan ook voor de oude authenticatiemethode kiezen:

mysql> SET PASSWORD FOR
-> 'some_user'@'some_host' = OLD_PASSWORD('newpwd');

Alternatively, use UPDATE and FLUSH PRIVILEGES:

mysql> UPDATE mysql.user SET Password = OLD_PASSWORD('newpwd')
-> WHERE Host = 'some_host' AND User = 'some_user';
mysql> FLUSH PRIVILEGES;

Dit zijn query's die je in je mysql shell kan uitvoeren.

Ik heb ook een groot probleem namelijk dit ik krijg het als ik mijn phpBB2 wil installeren ik had alle gegevens juist ingevuld hoe komt het ik krijg de volgende errors:
