LU1848 opgezocht bij symantec. Geeft volgende uitleg:
Error: "LU1848: Couldn't create callback object"
Situation:
When you run LiveUpdate, you see the message "LU1848: Couldn't create callback object."
Solution:
This message is seen most often when a file needed for LiveUpdate is missing or a Windows Registry entry is incorrect.
The first step to solve this problem is to see if the needed file is on your computer. The file is named iralrshl.exe, but it is usually not seen when searching for files because it is "hidden." Instructions in the first section will help you see if the file is on your computer, and will then tell you what to do in either case.
Click an icon to either expand ( ) or collapse ( ) each section. (If you cannot expand a section, then read the document Cannot expand sections in a Symantec Knowledge Base document.)
Search for the iralrshl.exe file
Edit the registry
Uninstalling and reinstalling
Did you follow all instructions and still have the problem?
If you followed all the steps shown above, and you still see the LU1848 message, the cause is not known at this time. You can help Symantec find the cause by submitting a file to Symantec. This is done online and should only take a minute or two.
