Netscape account in Outlook Express

Welke servernamen voor in- en uitgaande mail moet ik gebruiken om mijn netscape account te configureren in Outlookexpress? Kan het nergens vinden.

Dat is helaas niet mogelijk

Er is wel een ander mailprogramme die dat kan doen
Minotaur, vd makers v Mozilla

Is ook een apart mailprogramma als OutLook
Nog in Beta maar werkt uitstekend

Ik had al zo'n vermoeden dat het niet ging. Zal dat programma wat jij zegt eens proberen.

Can I access my Netscape WebMail or Hotmail accounts through Minotaur?

No. Netscape WebMail and Hotmail use proprietary protocols. To access WebMail directly through an e-mail client requires you to use Netscape 6+ with AIM; to do so with Hotmail requires either Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express. There is also proprietary shareware available that will let you do the same thing, such as Hotmail Popper.

Of course, you can access your WebMail account on the Web at http://webmail.netscape.com/, or Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com/. If you use Microsoft Messenger, clicking on the appropriate link will open your default browser and take you to your inbox.

Och, misschien is het dan toch handiger om Netscape gewoon via IE of Netscape te openen. Twee van die emailprogramma's als Outlook Express, dat heeft ook weinig zin. Je surft net zo snel even naar de site om in te loggen.
