QMS 1060 printer-firmware

Wie kan mij helpen aan de firmware software (dus géén driver software) voor mijn QMS 1060 laser printer?
Het is een oude printer, dus versie 2.0 of hoger werkt niet[\b]... Ik hoop dat dit ergens verstopt ligt in iemand z'n laadtje, want internet bied het helaas niet.

Ik heb mogelijk de gezochte firmware nog op een cd staan.

Dus als je nog belangstelling hebt, antwoord op dit bericht.

Windows 7 en QMS 1060 werkend

All,

QMS1060 printers running on Windows 7 on my systems.

DO NOT TAKE A "MINOLTA-QMS 2060 Print System (PS)" system. This will go wrong. The Print System printers will not work under windows 7.


What I did:
Install new printer.
make new local port tcp/ip FI the ip adres, or using the host file to use a name.
do not query the printer (checked Off)

choose for device type "QMS printer"

Choose Windows Update. (more choices for printers)
choose for QMS printer
Choose for QMS 4060 (Kanji F2) (again DO NOT choose a printer with Print System)
Install the rest as usuall.
DO NOT print anything / DO not change the properties (most I can´t read)

Copy the PPD and BPD files from an XP Machine from : (also not a Print System printer driver)
C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\drivers\w32x86\3\QMS10602.PPD/BPD.
to the windows 7 machine in :
c:\windows\system32\spool\drivers\x64\3\QM4060J2.PPD/BPD
If necessary you have to change security etc. Be sure that the files are copied.

Restart the Win7 system.

Now You can config/use the QMS1060 on a Win7 system.
