Problem with Epson printer Inkpad
My printer is an Epson XP-540 (all in one inkjet) which worked fine. Today it stopped saying: <<Ink pad needs service, contact Epson>>. And blocked the printer completely.
I have seen this inkpad some time ago when replacing a cartridge, but since the computer is blocked now I cannot reach the inkpad because the cardridge carriage is blocked as well and sits just above the inkpad. I cannnot even replace the inkpad if I wanted to.
What can I do?
How could I move the cartridge carriage aside in order to reach the inkpad?
How and where could I purchase a new inkpad?
And, if this all doesn't help: which equivalent (Epson) printer could replace mine?
