Hmm, dit is wel heel makkelijk googlebaar. Dit vond ik binnen 1 minuut:

Place your sim in your residence and go to the PAUSE MENU. Note this is not the pause the game, but go to the PAUSE MENU with save, options, credits, quit.

Now hold down LB + LT + RB + RT. You will get a notice about the achievements and an opportunity to save your game at this point.

Now go to BUY > DECOR > MISCELLANEOUS and you will see Spot the Magic Lama costs 0 simoleans.
