Tombraider werkt niet

Hallo allemaal ik heb net de nieuwe tombraider the
angel of darkness geistalleerd, maar als ik op running game klikt dan krijg ik het promoschermpje van eidos, en dat was het dan? terwijl die het om mijn vorige pc wel werkte?
Daar zal het toch niet aan liggen neem ik aan, de vorige was een p4 1,8 en deze is ook een p4 maar dat 3Ghz.
Ik krijg voor de rest ook helemaal geen foutmelding of zo, wat kan er mis zijn??
p.s het is een orginele cd......

ik mag aannemen dat dat wel in orde is, of denk je van niet, en waar moet ik die up dates halen? bij eidos misschien......
 
Welke windows heb je...XP ?
Zoja, klik dan eens op de eigenschappen en zet de comptabiliteit eens op 98...dit wil wel eens helpen.

dat heb ik al gedaan maar dat werkt dus ook niet, niets meer van? het zal toch niet komen omdat ik nog meerdere tombraider's op de harde schijf heb staan?
Maar dat kan haast niet op die andere pc draaide die wel goed, en mijn pc is in orde, ik heb een pentium 4 met 3Ghz kloksnelheid en een intern geheugen van ruim 500mb ........

Volgens mij heeft dit te maken met een grafische fout.
Wat voor videokaart heb je?

Wat had je al gedaan? de driverupdate de directx update of de comptabiliteitsmodus?

misschien spreek jij wel frans of kan iemand die dit begrijpt het vertellen?

En opnieuw installeren met de antivirus uit?

Tomraider werkt nog steeds niet, en aan de grafische kaart zal het toch wel niet liggen? tombraider 4 werkt wel naar behoren, en is grafische heel mooi.
De kaart die ik heb is volgens mij A.G.P. het zegt me verder niets maar er staat ook iets van A.T.I misschien is hem dat wel. en aan DirctX kan het ook niet liggen ik heb 9.1, dus zijn er nog meer suggesties voor dit spel???
Ja moet toch wel een spelletje kunnen spelen op een pentium 4 3 Ghz en een intern geheugen van 512Mb..
 
Ik denk ook niet dat het aan je kaart ligt, maar ik wil even zien of er nieuwe drivers voor uitzijn oid...
 
en bij een andere tomraider chronicles krijg ik deze melding.

Het lijkt erop dat je je videokaart moet up-daten.. vooral die fouten. wat voor videokaart heb je ?
 
de grafische kaart is ATI Radeon 9800XL 128Mb ddr sdram 256Bit merory Interface
 
Weet iemand of er een up date is voor die ATI Radeon 9800XL 128Mb ddr sdram 256Bit merory Interface?
Want ik kan hem niet vinden !

Die kaart bestaat ook eigenlijk niet, het is een naam die (aldi)medion heeft uit gevonden. Je kan inderdaad gewoon de catalyst drivers gebruiken.

9800XL is een soort uitgeklede 9800pro.
 
De catalyst drivers zitten onder de link die ik gaf dus je hoeft niet te zoeken.
 
Hallo, ik heb eerst die driver's van Radeon 9800 PRO verwijderd en toen die catalyst geinstalleerd, ten
eerste ik zie geen verschil en ten 2de die diver's van Radeon zet die er weer terug op??
Ik keek even bij apparaten beheer en ze stonden er weer? komen die vanzelf terug ???
 
Heb je de installatie gedaan zoals hieronfder?
Zoniet probeer dat dan eens en lees de site nog even goed na.

Installation Instructions:

Uninstall the ATI Display Driver
Restart once prompted. If prompted cancel the installation of the display adapter upon boot up.
Close all other applications running, including any anti-virus software before attempting to install the driver suite.

Windows 2000/XP:
You can confirm that all applications are closed using the Windows Task Manager.
Press CTRL+ALT+DEL once and then click Task Manager. Select the "Applications" tab. If any applications are still listed on this tab, highlight the application and then click the "End Task" button at the bottom of the tab. Repeat this procedure until there are no more applications running.


Windows 98/SE/ME:
Press CTRL+ALT+DEL once. Highlight each application and then click the "End Task" button at the bottom of this window. Repeat this procedure until there are no more applications running except for EXPLORER & SYSTRAY. Do NOT end task on these two applications or your PC will shut down.


Locate the Display Driver download and double-click on it.
Restart once prompted.
Locate the ATI Control Panel (if included) download and double-click on it.
Restart once prompted.
Locate the WDM Capture drivers and double-click on it. - ONLY download if you have an AIW RADEON or RADEON VIVO family product.
Restart once prompted
 
Mijn engels is niet zo best als het om technische dingen gaat, maar ik heb dus eerst die oude versie verwijderd en toen die nieuwe geinstallerd, maar geen resutaat........
en ik begrijp ook niet waarom ik geen e-mail ontvang van jouw bericht?
 
Email ontvangen kan je inschakelen in je profiel.
