Installation under Windows'95/98/Me
1. Double click on your "Desktop" icon. Select your CD-ROM Drive and right click on it. On the menu, select open, then locate the "Install" file. Double click on it and follow the on-screen instructions. After the game is installed, you can play by opening the Tycoon.bat file.
Transport Tycoon Deluxe may crash during installation and play if attempted through Windows. If this happens, read the following instructions.
Installation under MS-DOS
1. You must first EXIT Windows. To exit Windows select START, SHUTDOWN and RESTART IN MS-DOS MODE.
2. Check with your PC supplier that you have installed the MS-DOS drivers for your
soundcard, CD-ROM drive and Mouse. Access your CD-ROM drive by typing its letter and a colon and then pressing ENTER. E.g. D:
3. Type INSTALL and press ENTER. Follow the prompts on screen to install the game.
4. After the program files have been transferred you will be asked for your soundcard choice and settings. Again, check with your PC supplier if you are unsure what these are.
5. Exit the Install program and write down the instructions to use later, you will need
these each time you want to start the program from DOS.
