Ik heb een Lenovo laptop 3000 N200 met legitieme Windows Vista. Ik slaag er maar niet in om Vista update SP 2 (KB948465) hierop te installeren, heb al vele mislukte meldingen staan. Andere updates lukken wel. Ik krijg foutcode 800B0100. De oplossing zou zijn de system update readiness tool KB947821 deze is succesvol gedownload (voor de zekerheid zelfs een tweede keer). Ook nadat ik de virusscanner, spyware programma's en de firewall uitgezet heb had ik geen succes. Heeft iemand een sugestie?

Ik heb (met een Dell desktop) exact hetzelfde probleem. Ik heb de Dell zo gekocht, met Vista voorgeïnstalleerd. Verder zijn er geen speciale programma's geïnstalleerd, het is gewoon een rechttoe-rechtaan PC en toch heb ik al tientallen mislukte pogingen.

Bedankt voor je reactie, ik heb deze optie al geprobeerd op 03-01-10 is deze update KB947821 geinstalleerd en 05-01 nogmaals met het idee dat de 1e wellicht niet helemaal ok is.De foutmelding is zoals vermeld: 800B0100. Andere updates gaan wel goed. Ik heb update talloze malen laten uitvoeren elke keer mislukt hij.

Bedankt voor je reactie, ik heb even verder gekeken maar dit betreft een update voor de KB947821. Omdat ik er tijdens het downloaden achter kwam dat ik deze al had heb ik hem zelf afgebroken. Zijn we weer waar we waren, dus nogmaals geprobeerd sp 2 te installeren ditmaal met foutmelding KB80246007 zou te maken hebben met BITS, maar alle instellingen staan goed.

Ik heb nagekeken, ik heb deze hotfix onder nummer 967818 niet geinstalleerd, Ik zou het dus kunnen proberen maar er wordt een waarschuwing gegeven: alleen gebruiken bij genoemde foutcodes. Genoemde foutcodes heb ik dus niet gekregen, het is het proberen waard, maar de kans bestaat dat ik nog verder van huis ben.

Ook ik vindt het vreemd dat het probleem niet opgelost is na installatie van 947821, maar dit probleem lag er al bij het stellen van de vraag. De laatste noodgreep stel ik liever nog even uit. Nu heb ik een werkende pc met een verouderd OS maar dat is beter dan een niet werkend systeem. Ik heb begrepen dat de fouten worden opgeslagen mbt deze tool en heb deze opgezocht. Vandaag maar weer eens wat uurtjes besteed aan het probleem.
Helpdesk Lenovo gebeld, deze willen kosten berekenen geen service natuurlijk, toch maar proberen dacht ik. Kreeg iemand aan de lijn: niet te verstaan zo slecht was de lijn. Bel je wel terug was het antwoord en dat gebeurd dus vervolgens niet. Alle anti virus spyware nogmaals eraf gehaald geen resultaat. Hotfix zoals door Harry geopperd geinstalleerd geen resultaat. Hier wordt je niet blij van.
