Kan iemand mij helpen,,,
Hoe moet ik precies het volgende moet uploaden.

All cgi-bin files with extensions ( pl ) & ( cgi ) upload as ( ASCII ) mode and permissions set to ( 755 )
All cgi-bin files with extensions ( tar ) upload as ( BINARY ) mode. (#6 Forum Board Only)
All public_html files upload as ( BINARY ) mode and permissions set to ( 777 )

Moet ik elke map openen en appart uploaden ?
Ik zit met het probleem
All cgi-bin files with extensions ( tar ) upload as ( BINARY ) mode. (#6 Forum Board Only)Dit zit in de map Forums. Dus ik kan deze map niet uploaden omdat daar dan 6 tar bestanden zitten die in Binary moeten worden geupload.

Ik heb 4 mappen onder de map upload to your cgi bin , moet ik deze dan allemaal openen ? Staat dan alles niet door mekaar ? Heb ook nog 7 mappen die onder de map upload to your public hml

Je zou je fpt progje op auto kunnen zetten.
Evenwel kun je het ook doen als aangegeven.
En mappen openen is toch zo gebeurd?

Na upload de cmod instellen.
Dit kan met je ftp progje,
doch lukt dit niet, dan moet je het op je webstek zelf doen.
(inloggen bij je host om instellingen aan te passen)
Dit is afhankelijk op welk type server je host draait.

Ik wou nog vragen, maakt het dan niet uit dat deze 6 rar bestanden buiten de map forum staan ?

Ik zou het niet weten.
Lees de readme files (via verkenner) of kijk op de site waar je het script vandaan hebt.
Ik heb al gezocht om te kijken of ik het script kon vinden, doch dit is niet gelukt.

Hier is de installatie uitleg

Ik weet hoe ik het moet uploaden maar als ik alle mappen upload moet ik dan de tar bestanden eruit halen en achteraf weer in zetten.

De uitleg is wat vaag en ik vind nergens meer uitleg.

Basic Guide Lines To Installation


To install your new Auction Script, please read the following:

Basic installation guide lines.
First Upload all files to there correct directory.
(Upload_To_Your_cgi-bin) = Upload all file in this folders/files to your (cgi-bin) Directory.
(Upload_To_Your_www_or_public_html) = Upload all file in this folders/files to your (public_html) Directory.

NOTE:
All cgi-bin files with extensions ( pl ) & ( cgi ) upload as ( ASCII ) mode and permissions set to ( 755 )
All cgi-bin files with extensions ( tar ) upload as ( BINARY ) mode. (#6 Forum Board Only)
All public_html files upload as ( BINARY ) mode and permissions set to ( 777 )

a. change all server information to the correct paths.
b. change all (yourdomain.com) to your registered domain name.

#2) Edit the file yourphoto.pl (cgi-bin/auction/yourphoto.pl)
a. change all server information to the correct paths.

a. change all (yourdomain.com) to your registered domain name.
