verwijderen MountPointManagerRemoteDatabase

Het verwijderen van MountPointManagerRemoteDatabase in de map System Volume Information lukt me niet. Het is een bestand dat resteerde na het samenvoegen van twee partities met PartitionMagic.

Nu heb ik op het web het onderstaande gevonden, maar vanaf: "At the command prompt...' heb ik hulp nodig. Moet ik daar de prompt wijzigen in die van de partitie waar het bestand zich bevindt en dan de tekst attrib System Volume Information -s -h daar typen en enteren? Idem met System Volume Information?

In Windows, in My Computer, right-click on the System Volume Information folder and pick Properties from the context menu. Uncheck Read Only and pick Apply. At the command prompt, change to the folder, change the attributes of that directory: attrib System Volume Information -s -h. Change to the directory: cd "System Volume Information" then change the attributes of the file: attrib MountPointManagerRemoteDatabase -s -h, then del MountPointManagerRemoteDatabase.

Opgelost met:

Boot into safe mode and login as Administrator then right click on the
undesired folder (System Volume Information) and choose properties,
then owner, (I am advising this from memory so instructions may be
slightly off.) enter "Administrator" verify, and choose full control.
Apply to folder including subfolders. Once this is done you may delete
the folder.

Heeft met al met al zo'n vijf uur gekost.......
