virus wel of niet weg?

Hoi.

Gisteren kreeg ik een viruswaarschuwing met een hoog risico. Ik gebruik norton antivirus.
Heb de nieuwe updates binnen gehaald.
computer op gestart in veiligmodus. het virus werd verwijderd.
Maar nu ik vanochtend de computer weer opstarte kwam er weer de zelfde waarschuwing, dus hup ik weer naar veiligemodus. werd niks gevonden
maar de waarschuwing blijft steeds terug komen, en als ik op het OK icoontje clik komt de waarschuwing ook steeds weer terug.

de virus naam is W32.ALCRA.B.


Heeft iemand een idee? hoe ik dit kan oplossen.

En weet iemand toevallig een andere goeie virusscan, die je in de winkel kunt kope, of gratis is te downloaden?

4. To delete the value from the registry
Important: Symantec strongly recommends that you back up the registry before making any changes to it. Incorrect changes to the registry can result in permanent data loss or corrupted files. Modify the specified subkeys only. For instructions refer to the document: How to make a backup of the Windows registry.

Click Start > Run.
Type regedit
Click OK.

Note: If the registry editor fails to open the threat may have modified the registry to prevent access to the registry editor. Security Response has developed a tool to resolve this problem. Download and run this tool, and then continue with the removal.


Navigate to the subkey:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run


In the right pane, delete the value:

"winupdates" = "%ProgramFiles%\winupdates\winupdates.exe /auto"

Exit the Registry Editor.

C:\windows\temp\tmpC.tmp dit is de locatie,

kan het alleen niet vinden dus neem aan dat het verwijderd is. maar ik ga ff de online scan proberen
 
Die temp map mag helemaal leeg hoor.:)

Alleen die winupdates zie ik dan nergens staan.

Dan zou je na opnieuw opstarten geen last meer van die melding moeten krijgen.
 
jep dat meende ik ook, maar blijkbaar niet, vandaar dat ik ook over wil stappen op een andere virusprog.
 
de scan leverde 0 bedreigingen op, dus ik ben het helemaal kwijt.

Bedakt voor allehulp. ga volgende week maar ff een andere virus scan ophalen , en dan pleur ik norton eraf, eens kijke wat er dan gezegd word.
 
Stevig en goedkoop is NOD32
 
ah okay, had laatst al iets gelezen op een forum hier over, denk ook wel dat nod32 mijn keuze word.

ik heb norton verwijderd, en heb de trail versie van nod32 gedownload. Het probleem is verholpen,
