windows xp probleem

Ik heb het volgende probleem, ik heb windows xp prof. op mijn computer staan, en als ik wat verander b.v mijn bureaublad achtergrond of een lettertype in word, wanneer ik mijn computer dan afsluit en opnieuw opstart, zijn al de veranderingen die ik eerder had gedaan, weer terug in de oude staat.
Wat ik ook doe ik krijg het niet veranderd.
Wil kan me helpen.

Check your settings here: Start/Run/Regedit

Normally when Windows exits it saves the desktop configuration, including
icon location, appearance etc.

This setting disables these changes from being saved, this is useful in both
a secure environment and when you don't want people to change the appearance
of your desktop once you have it setup the way you like it.

Policies\Explorer]
Value Name: NoSaveSettings
Data Type: REG_DWORD (DWORD Value)
Value Data: (0 = disabled, 1 = enabled)

Create a new DWORD value, or modify the existing value called
'NoSaveSettings' set the value to equal '1' to enable the restriction.

Exit your registry, you may need to restart for the changes to take effect.
