weet iemand wat de inhoud van deze map is ? C:\Program Files\Xerox\NWWia
wat is Xerox NWWia?
en hoe kan ik het verwijderen ?

Als je Start -> Configuratiescherm -> Scanners en camera's -> Apparaat toevoegen kiest, dan zie je dat bij Fabrikant Xerox het model "Xerox-netwerkscanners" staat.
Voeg je nu inderdaad die Xerox-netwerkscanners toe, dan is de map waar je het over had ineens gevuld.
Als je hierna die Xerox-netwerkscanners weer verwijderd uit Scanners en camera's, dan blijven die bestanden tóch staan in die map.

Voor dit gedrag is het volgende citaat (uit deze link) relevant. Komt erop neer de map gewoon laten staan (kost 0 bytes opslag), want bij een volgende herstart wordt die toch weer aangemaakt (staat onder 'bescherming' van Windows):

There is no definitive explanation why this folder appears when XP is
installed. The best explanation I have seen is that it is associated with
some kind of obscure license agreement between Microsoft and Xerox for the
Windows Image Aquisition Service.

What is true about this folder:
It is protected by Windows System File Protection and cannot be deleted.
Actually, it can be deleted from outside Windows, but it will be replaced
when XP is restarted.
It is 0 bytes, so it does not take up any space.
It is best to simply ignore it.
It does no harm and is not associated with any virus.
I have seen at least one curious/paranoid person completely trash their
system trying to get rid of it.
