Hallo,
Als ik in de adresbalk van Firefox een adres tik (vb. de lijn) krijg ik niet meer rechtstreeks de site van de lijn, maar dit :
http://search.yahoo.com/search?ei=utf-8&fr=megaup&p=de+lijn

Ik weet niet hoe ik aan die Yahoo geraakt ben.
Heb deze week wel Megaupload toolbar binnengehad, maar die is reeds terug verdwenen. Die Yahoo blijft echter.
In extra, add ons, is alleen de DOM inspector en talkback te zien.
Ik veronderstel dat die mogen blijven en niets met Yahoo te maken hebben ?

In Internet Explorer is alles normaal. Moet dus ergens in Firefox zitten denk ik. Wie weet raad ?

Het probleem is ondertussen opgelost : ik kreeg van iemand de raad in de URL van Firefox te typen : about:config en daar de regel keyword.url te wijzigen in : http://www.google.com/search?ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&sourceid=navclient&gfns=1&q=
(en daar stond bij mij dus : search.yahoo.....)

Nu alles is weer als voorheen.
Ik wilde het toch laten weten, mocht iemand in de toekomst met hetzelfde verveeld zitten.

Google's "Browse By Name" in Firefox

Google recently introduced a mode called "Browse By Name", a cross between "I'm Feeling Lucky" and a normal Google search. "Browse By Name" acts like "I'm Feeling Lucky" if Google is certain that the first hit is correct, but otherwise returns a normal set of search results. If you use Internet Explorer with the Google Toolbar, "Browse By Name" is the default behavior for non-URLs typed into the address bar. The Google Toolbar shows a dialog the first time you use the feature.

By default, Firefox uses "I'm Feeling Lucky" for non-URLs typed into its address bar. You can change the behavior by going to about:config and setting keyword.URL to the appropriate URL and then restarting Firefox.
