Go Into the Bios, Under PCI/PNP Config, Enable Reset Configuration
Data, Save the Bios, and Exit
"This has been seen on various systems from time to time. The 'Verifying DMI
Data Pool' message is displayed before the OS begins loading, and is not
directly related to the existence of a DMI Service Provider (i.e. the
message appears even if DMI is not installed). The actual freeze generally
happens after the DMI data pool has been verified and before anything else
visible happens during the OS load. The most common identified cause has
been incompatibilities in drivers or other system software, not the BIOS
itself. The most common fix for this is to backup, clean and format the hard
drive and re-install the operating system. Your system or BIOS vendor may be
able to provide more detailed information as well."
