Clone CD Virtual Drive

Ik weet niet of deze vraag op de juiste plek staat, maar wist niet waar ik hem anders moest plaatsen. Na installatie van clone-cd was er een Virtual Drive (I) bijgemaakt. Toen ik wilde branden met Nero lukte dat niet (melding: unexpected exception). Ik heb heel clone-cd verwijderd van de pc en vervolgens brandde mijn wirter als een zonnetje. Wat is het probleem met die Virtual Drive? want volgens mij ging het daat mis.

Die virtual drive is er om te zorgen dat ook gekopieerde cd's met beveiliging blijven werken, want sommige moderne kopieerbeveiligingen kunnen zien dat de cd een cd-r is en dan weigeren om te werken, virtual drive kan dit dan omzeilen. Werkt Nero ook niet als je dat programmaatje tijdelijk uitschakelt?

Als je clone cd 4.xxx installeerd , heb je er een virtueel schijfstation bij.Dit kan je gebruiken als je bv een iso of bin file gedownload hebt. En je wilt controleren of de afbeelding (image) 100% in orde is.
Als dit zo is kan je de image branden.

De help file van clone cd is in het engels en daar staat een heel stuk hoe je de optie moet gebruiken.

De extra schijf kan geen kwaad en de rest blijft het ook gewoon nog doen.

After installing CloneCD, you will find the Menu Item "Virtual CloneDrive" in the Tray Icon Menu.

Note: Please do ignore the requests of the operating system during the installation process. Please always click "Next" or "OK" when you are asked if you like to continue the installation process.


"Number of Drives": This option lets you decide how many virtual drives you want to use
"Virtual Sheep": If you enable this option, the Virtual CloneDrives are marked with a sheep
Further Menu Items are found by clicking with the right mouse button on a "Virtual CloneDrive". You can find all the virtual drives by double-clicking on your Desktop Icon "My Computer". They are marked with a sheep. If you don't like the sheep, deactivate the check box in the Virtual CloneDrive window.



Please click the right mouse button on a virtual drive created by CloneCD. A Menu with several Menu Items opens. The Menu Items are similar to the ones of a "real" drive ("Open", "Explore" etc.). Only the Menu Item "Virtual CloneDrive" is special and different from the "real" ones.

If you stop your mouse at the Menu Item "Virtual CloneDrive" another menu opens with the following functions:
"Mount": Allows to insert the desired Image through a automatically opend browser window
"Unmount": Removes the currently inserted Image
Hint: The Menu Item "Unmount" is not the same as "Eject". With "Eject" you only open the drawer of the virtual drive: The "virtual CD" stays in the drive. If you now close the drive, the currently inserted Image will be mounted again. With "Unmount" you really remove the "virtual CD"!
