This message is for anyone that is experiencing the "Winmain Cursor Thread
Error" when trying to play the Blackstone Chronicles. I was also having this
problem, so I called Legend tech support. They gave me a temporary workaround,
but they couldn't figure out what was causing the crash; they thought it might
have something to do with quicktime. After trying everything short of getting a
new computer, I was able to get the game to run. The problem was with one line
in my win.ini file: DVA=0. Once I removed this line, the game worked fine. If
you would like to try this, you can open win.ini in notepad(or any other word
processor) and either delete the line "DVA=0" or place a semi-colon in front of
the line; you can look for the line manually or use the find command in
notepad. Once you have deleted the line, restart Windows and the game should
run. I hope this works for anyone that is having problems running the game.

evt. bij de map-opties in de verkenner aangeven dat alle bestanden zichtbaar zijn.
open het met notepad en verwijder de genoemde regel.
wijzigingen opslaan en de computer herstarten.
