Disk read error MW3

Beste,

Ik heb al vaker op dit forum en i-net er naar gezocht, maar niemand heeft schijnbaar het probleem wat ik heb. Wie kan mij de oplossing bieden?

Als ik MW3 speel op mijn PS3 Campaign of Multiplayer loopt deze vast en krijg de melding Disk Read Error.
Al mijn andere spellen o.a. PES2013, COD Black Ops lopen als een zonnetje!
Onlangs heb ik de MW3 disk meegegeven aan een maatje en die kan gewoon spelen zoals het hoort...

Heb me MW3 gamedata verwijderd en opnieuw geupdate, systeemherstel uitgevoerd en disk zó schoon gemaakt dat het pijn aan de ogen doet!
Dit alles mocht niet baten...

Wat kan het nou nog zijn?

optie 1
From the ps3 menu,
2. Select Internet Browser.
3. After the Internet Browser appears press the Triangle button.
4. Select Tools on the Options menu.
5. Select Delete Cookies and Delete Cache
6. delete game data utility for MW3 (witch is the update)
7. reinstall update and it should work.


edit: live sessie met sony op facebook voor het probleem.

1. Make sure to delete all game data for the game and let it redownload any patches that it requires:

A. Navigate to Game Data Utilities
B. Highlight your Modern Warfare 3 game data.
C. Press Triangle, select delete.

Tutorial on how to restore the file system

1. Start with having the system in standby (redlight is on)
2. Hold the power button down; the system will turn on and turn off once again.
3. Press and hold the power button again and keep holding, it will beep as it turns on and then it will double beep. When you hear the double beeps immediately take your finger off the power button (if your system turns off before you get a double beep just try again and hold the button, it should double beep the 2nd time you try)
4. You will be prompted to plug in your controller via USB and then hit the PS button

You will now have a screen with these options :
1. Restart System: Restarts the PLAYSTATION®3 System.
2. Restore Default Settings: Reset all system settings back to default.
CHOOSE THIS ONE 3.Restore File System: Checks for corrupt/missing system files.
4. Rebuild Database: Rebuilds the OS for the PLAYSTATION®3.
5. Restore PS3 System: Fresh restore; Deletes everything and starts from Scratch.
6. System Update: Update the PLAYSTATION®3 System
IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU DO NOT CHOOSE THE WRONG OPTION HERE OR YOU WILL LOSE ALL YOUR DATA.

2. Test your disc on another console. If the disc works fine on another console, the issue is not the disc. If you find that the game does not load on another Playstation 3, we can begin to process a warranty disc replacement if the disc is within the 90 day warranty period and there is no damage on the disc. Please keep in mind, we test and inspect your game disc when we receive it. If we receive the disc with damage or it is no longer within warranty, we will require a 20 dollar replacement fee for the disc.

3. If the previous steps did not resolve your issue, there may be a problem with the hardware within your console. You may want to contact Sony for further support:

de meesten mensen op fora's zeggen dat als je PS3 nog in garantie zit, je beter een nieuwe kan halen, want ook al los je het op als je PS3 deze kuren al vertoond zal hij niet lang meer meegaan,


Welke PS3 heb je ? de slimline of één van de eerste? bij die eerste zat al een fout in, dat hij zoveel bepaald aantal uren mee zou gaan, en daarna kreeg je een blauw scherm o.i.d.

Ik heb in principe alles gedaan wat je omschreven hebt behalve me cookies en chache niet ge-delete. Deze stonden niet in de omschrijving die ik had gevonden op een MW3 forum.
Zal dat het verschil dan maken? Dat denk ik eigenlijk niet...

Ik heb de Slim en zit al buiten me garantieperiode.
De Slim schijnt ook moeilijker te repareren te zijn dan de 1e versie dus denk dat ik er maar aan moet geloven

in principe helpt het legen van je cache niet, Wel vind ik het raar dat je wel gewoon andere spellen kan spelen, dat sluit al bijna uit dat je blu-ray speler kapot is, Als al deze oplossingen niet werken misschien even langsgaan bij de plaatselijke shop, en kijken of hun misschien weten wat het kan zijn.

Heb nog een optie over en dat is een DVD halen die de lenskop schoonmaakt, gewoon bij de mediamarkt verkrijgbaar, mocht dit niet werken dan ben ik bang dat hij ver heen is.

Dat ik andere spellen zonder problemen speel vind ik ook vreemd, maar ga even langs bij me shoppie

Zo'n DVD heet CleanDisk en heb ik ook naar gekeken, maar op i-net staan er genoeg reviews hierover en 9 van 10 zeggen dat het geen ruk uithaalt...

Ik heb gisteren met Playstation gebeld en de lokale spelcomputer reparateur. Beide geven aan dat het waarschijnlijk de lens is die aan het verslijten is.
Oudere en/of kleinere spellen leest ie nog wel, maar nieuwere en/of grotere spellen heeft ie moeite mee.

Ik heb mijn PS3 aangeboden ter reparatie en de kosten hiervoor zijn (bij de lokale reparateur) € 55,- incl. de lens.

Dit ter info voor degene die ook het probleem heeft.... :thumb:
