Ik heb een snooker-spel binnen gehaald. Het balkje komt op 100 % te staan, de status verandert in completing en springt dan opnieuw op looking. Het percentage blijf 100 %.

Moet ik nog iets doen, kan ik iets doen ?

Volgens mij heb je in de directory an e-donkey 2 mappen. 1 temp map waar ie onafgeronde downloads plaatst en 1 map voor afgeronde downloads.

Als het bestand in de map voor afgeronde downloads staat moet ie dus in principe compleet zijn en te installeren.

Kan zijn dat ik me vergis wat betreft de mappen, want ik haal E-donkey en Overnet nog wel eens door elkaar.

Fred, klopt wat je zegt. Maar het ganse spel (1.04 Gb) is volledig binnen. Na volledige download maakt e donkey van alle 66 bestanden 1.1 part ... 1.67 part het snooker-programma, hetgeen in die andere directory geplaatst wordt. Klopt wat je dus zegt, alleen doet hij het niet.

Wat voor ext. heeft de nieuwe file? Is dat een bin. file?

Is trouwens een groot bestand voor een snookerspel, maar ja.

De extensie is part. Alles is *.part.

Zit er geen .met bij?

Je zou kunnen kijken als je e dondey nog een keer opstart of hij nog bij de downloads staat.

Heb het zelf 1 keer gehad met overnet, toen bleef ie bij ongeveer 99,9% hangen en had ie hem ook al in de completed directory staan in .part.

Na het opnieuw opstarten van Overnet was die later ineens wel .avi.

Anders zou je kunnen of je donkeydoctor (kun je gewoon met e donkey zoeken) even download. Misschien kan dat progje het probleem verhelpen.

Bij nader toezicht ...

er staat een

1.part.met en een
1.part.met.bak

in de directory, maar nog niets in de andere dir.

Even voor alle duidelijkheid.

Er staat dus wel een .met en .part files in de temp directory, maar alleen .part files in de incoming (andere) directory?

Je gaf reeds aan.
Na volledige download maakt e donkey van alle 66 bestanden 1.1 part ... 1.67 part het snooker-programma in de andere directory.
Bedoelde je hier dat het reeds een programma is en hem wou installeren of dat het alleen die .part files zijn?

Als het reeds een programma is kun je me dan de ext. geven?
Als het alleen .part files zijn ZONDER een .met file zou ik e donkey nog eens starten om te kijken of hij het de laatste handeling, nl. het creëren van een installatiefile nog gaat uitvoeren.

Doet ie dat niet download dan donkeydoctor m.b.v. edonkey. dat programma kan wellicht het probleem anders oplossen.

* Completion

o Run MFR by clicking the shortcut.
o Select completion and click next.
o Input your temporary directory (if it's not correct) and click next.
o Select the download you'd like to complete and click next.
o Select the desired completion options and click next.

* Conversion
This mode allows you to convert your old style .part files to the new style.
o Run MFR by clicking the shortcut.
o Select Conversion and click next.
o Input your temporary directory (if it's not correct) and click next.
o Select the download you'd like to convert and click next.
o Verify that you've chosen the correct download and click next.

* Recovery
This mode allows you to recover lost downloads.
o Run MFR by clicking the shortcut.
o Select Recovery and click next.
o Input your temporary directory (if it's not correct) and click next.
o Select the download you'd like to recover and click next.
o Leave the settings on the next screen as they are and click next.
o Once it is done hashing select the appropriate candidate and click next. If no candidates are presented or the candidates don't match your file then you will need to start redownloading the file to create a valid .part.met file for MFR to read. Once the file has downloaded 1 MB or more try running MFR on the original download again.

* View/Edit
This mode allows you to view the contents of your .part.met file and change certain values.
o Run MFR by clicking the shortcut.
o Select View/Edit and click next.
o Input your temporary directory (if it's not correct) and click next.
o Select the download you'd like to View/Edit and click next.
o Change any file characteristics you'd like to and click next.
o Select the desired verification operations and click next.
