ik had mijn koeler van de processor afgehaald
het is een pentium 4 1,7 ghz en toen zag ik een rond gaatje in de processor is dit normaal?
zo ja waarvoor is het?

Dat gaatje is normaal voor een Pentium 4.
Waarvoor het dient, zou ik niet weten.

Solution:
The small hole in the integrated heat spreader (IHS) is required during the manufacturing process of the processor. The hole allows air to escape during manufacturing, particularly while the IHS is being installed.

While applying thermal grease to the IHS, there is no need to avoid the small hole. The hole will be covered by the heatsink and thermal grease after proper heatsink installation.
