Hello my dear Dutch friends,

My name is Koi. I'm new on the forum.
Could someone please give me advice on a problem that has risen here?

For some unknown reason my computer would only let me reinstall Vista. No matter rebooting again or opening in safe mode. Only option was to reinstall windows.
This resulted in me losing all files and settings ofcourse.

Biggest problem tough, is that since this happend my internet doesnt function properly.
Altough it somehow conects and shows as if it's connected, I can't acces websites or open messenger or do anything else.
Trying to manage my connections I noticed that my Local Area Connection has disappeared.

By a technician I've been advised to reinstall the LAN driver from the Fujitstu Siemens website (my computer is a Fujitstu). Unfortunately this driver doesn't have an executable file (.exe). This way it will not create a new Local Area Connection.
Does anyone have some recommendation for this situation?

I am very thankful in advance for your help!

Kind regards,

Koi Pendew

first of all welcome to this helpsite

2nd why didn't you applied to a english site?

3rd, allready tried to repair with your windows vista dvd?

Thank you very much for your help Emile.
I understand Dutch, but I write it awfully bad.

So I don't mind anyone replying in Dutch, that's why I posted my question here.
Besides, I already posted the question in an English website.

I didnt try with the Windows cd because when I bought the computer I got windows already installed on it (without the cd). This was one of my surprises when I started with these problems, Windows reinstalled itself without a cd:confused:.

I hope you can help me:thumb:.

Greetings Cor
