Goodday,
I've got a question about some things on my pc, due to the fact that I got experience with this, I need some help! I will detail the problems below:
Nowadays I'm using:
-Ad-Aware 6.0 Pro.
-Spybot.
-Norton Antivirus 2002 (updated)
-Win XP Pro.
-Windows Firewall.
Due to the fact I'm using these, I've got some major! problems now:
1. Everytime I go another homepage (websearch), all the files which do this I delete from adaware but returning back.
Now the other thing which make me crazy!!
2. I got 2 Trojans named: Backdoor.Trojan (c:\windows\system32\winohm.dll) and Trojan.Bookmarker.Gen (c:\windows\system32\gnbh.dll)
I could not repair/quarantine/deltete these!
I've followed the Symantec removal instructions:
Disable System Restore (Windows Me/XP).
Update the virus definitions.
Restart the computer in Safe mode or VGA mode.
Run a full system scan and delete all the files detected as Backdoor.Trojan.
Reverse the changes made to the Windows registry.
Windows 95/98/Me only: Remove any references to the infected files that have been added to the Win.ini and System.ini files.
When enabled the updated virusscanner it says that I'm not infected! Also not when Free Online Scanner at www.symantec.com and www.mcafee.com
Below you will find a log from HijackThis!
Logfile of HijackThis v1.97.7
Scan saved at 14:48:50, on 19-7-2004
Platform: Windows XP SP1 (WinNT 5.01.2600)
MSIE: Internet Explorer v6.00 SP1 (6.00.2800.1106)
Thanks in advance,
Scott
