hallo,

ik krijg een error als ik een dvd wil branden :s

ik gebruik deze dvd's :

Platinum DVD+R 16x speed

De foutmelding is een beetje vaag. Kan meerdere oorzaken hebben. Staat er wat meer in de logfile? Is dit bij alles wat je wil branden (cd/dvd)? Ander kun je proberen Nero te de-installeren via het Configuratiescherm om het daarna opnieuw te installeren.
 
Heb je dat bij alle merken schijfjes? Heb je al een ander geprobeerd?
 
[edit] ik probeerde op mijn broertjes pc te brande en het lukt dus het moet aan het ***** acer ligge ik haat acer want ik heb net 110 van die dvd's binne!

Kan een compatibiliteits-probleem zijn met de dvd's. Je kunt overwegen de firmware van de brander te updaten (als die beschikbaar is).
 
Merk en type van je brander opzoeken en naar de site van de fabrikant gaan.
 
Controleer meteen even of DMA aanstaat:

But this may not always be not enough, because unfortunately Windows does not always automatically activate DMA on a DVD or CD drive. You have to check and, if necessary, tell Windows to try to use DMA first. It is possible that Windows XP with Service Pack 2 re-enables DMA automatically on reboot, but I have not tested this yet.

To re-enable DMA, go to Device Manager again. Right-click on My Computer, select Properties, click on the Hardware tag, click on the Device Manager button, click on the plus sign to the left of IDE ATA/ATAPI Controller, double-click on the secondary IDE channel, click on Extended Settings and change the relevant setting from PIO only to DMA when available.

Als er geen firmware update is geweest, of geen grote update van XP, dan is het waarschijnlijk inderdaad te wijten aan het merk DVD's dat moeite heeft met de hele lage brandsnelheid. Firmware updaten sowieso dus.
