heb al een tijdje newsleecher maar als ik nu iets download stop ie telkens eventjes en dan begint ie weer en zo gaat dat telkens verder tot dat ie klaar is met downloaden dat deed ie eerst nooit.
wat is hier aan de hand.
heb hier xp pro, @home,tweaknews.

Some users have reported having trouble with their news server.

Apparently this problem has something to do with the Winsock in Windows which is not the fault of Windows unlike some people think. The problem is created when a spyware removal program such as Ad-aware removes a portion of spyware that has attached itself to your winsock file. When this occurs your internet connection is "broken" (incomplete or fully) because the winsock file is looking for a link to the spyware. All this occurs in the registry and no actual damage is done to the winsock file. That is why replacing the winsock file is useless (not to mention, Windows File Protection would have replaced the file immediately).

The development of this fix listed below is because of Ad-aware and users reporting a total (or partial) failure of their internet connection.

hij doet het weer maar tweaknews ligt er uit nu na reparatie, maar kan ook aan hun liggen.
