Resumé:
Zoals al eerder gesteld: ik ben de drivers van laagste nummer naar hoogste nummer toe opnieuw gaan installeren en ik heb gewacht waar het mis ging. Uiteindelijk was de driver 185.85 - releasedatum 7 mei 2009 de boosdoener. Ik heb een rollback gedaan en nu is de laatste driver op mijn systeem is nu de 182.50 - releasedatum 2 april 2009.
Mijn grafische kaart is een NVIDIA Geforce 7650, maar de drivers gelden ook voor andere modellen, zie citaat:

Binnen het Help Mij forum was nog een gebruiker die na installatie van de laatste drivers hetzelfde probleem heeft / had, en wie weet hoeveel er nog meer zijn in deze grote boze IT-wereld met hetzelfde probleem. Ik hoef en doe geen verder onderzoek, want ik zie het toch als een probleem welke door de driver veroorzaakt wordt. En met een driver van slechts 5 maanden oud kan ik leven.
