At my office in Holland I use a VPN connection to log on the Exchange server in the Uk. This works great. I log on to the internet, start my VPN, start outlook and then I got to Log-in the exchange server. Then I am up and running. This works in every hotel I have been worldwide with no problem.

However when I am home and I want to set up my VPN through my Sitecom 300N router it is not working.: I log on to the internet,.... start my VPN, then start outlook but my exchange login does not appear so I am not able to use outlook. Then my VPN looses it;s connection evrey few minutes.

What is happening, can anyone help me out here?????

Thanks,

Jeroen

If the subnet at your home is the same as the subnet at work (e.g. 192.168.2.x) the router/VPN wil look for the exchange-server in the local network. So change the internal IP-range at home.

Thanks,

Hi Thanks for your reply. Can you please explain about changing the IP range at Home.
Where and how does this need to be done (Laptop, or router etc.).

Thank you so much for your help.

Groetjes,

Jeroen

In the router, download the manual if necessary.
