Panda blokkeert!

Hallo
Op aanrader van de computershop heb ik Panda Antivirus aangeschaft.
Na installatie heb ik problemen met het verzenden van mail via Outlook Express en met de uitwisseling van informatie via Explorer.
Verzenden lukt alleen na uitschakeling van de Panda Firewall. Dat lijkt me het paard achter de wagen spannen.
Wie weet raad (te vinden)?

Ik ken Panda niet exact maar waarschijnlijk moet Panda "leren" dat Outlook Express naar het internet mag.

Open Panda eens, heb je iets van een programmabeheer?

Of Panda programmabeheer heeft weet ik niet. Er zijn boven in het scherm geen rolmenu's
Je kunt allen linken aanklikken en boxen aanvinken.
Ik kan via configuratie firewall naar een lijst met applicaties die permissie om verbinding hebben gevraagd. Automatisch toekennen is aangevinkt.

Check which version you have installed.

In order to check the version of your antivirus, follow these steps:


Open Panda Titanium Antivirus 2005.
Check which version is installed.

The version is displayed at the top of the window and is usually in the following format: Panda Titanium Antivirus 2005 (4.XX.XX), where the Xs are numbers between 0 and 9.
If the version installed is prior to 4.02.00, you must update it to the latest version available from our client download area or by clicking here.

If you have forgotten your user details, click here to access the User name/Password reminder.
Install it without uninstalling the version you currently have installed.

By doing this, you will save the settings currently defined so that the antivirus updates automatically.
Now that the antivirus version is 4.02.00, proceed to the following step.
If you have version 4.02.00 of Panda Titanium Antivirus 2005, download the hfT50504s1.exe file by clicking on the icon below:



Save the file to your hard disk, to the Windows Desktop for example.
Run the file you have downloaded by double-clicking on it.
Restart your computer and check that mails are being sent correctly.

Ik heb Panda 4.02.01

Dan klik je toch maar op de Hotfix in bovenstaande link endoeverder wat er beschreven staat ,en alles komt goed.

Daarbij nog even checken of de XP-firewall wel uitstaat. Kan mede de boel blokkeren als je 2 firewalls hebt draaien.

XP Firewall staat uit.
De hotfix voor Outlook Express deed zijn werk. E-mail gaat nu als de brandweer.
