pchealth?

Hallo,

Elke keer voordat ik 's avonds m'n puter uitzet, check ik wat er zoal is aangemaakt. In de map

C:\WINDOWS\PCHEALTH\HELPCTR\DataColl

wordt vrijwel elke dag een aantal zgn. collecteddata-bestanden aangemaakt, ze zijn van het type xml.

Waar komt het weg en wat moet ik ermee? Weggooien of zijn ze essentieel voor XP? t zijn er zo langzamerhand nogal wat.

er is een heleboel te vinden over xml, ik weet derhalve niet zeker of dit is wat je zoekt.

't gaat er niet om wat ik met xml wil doen, maar de vraag is of ik die bestanden kan verwijderen.

A: They can be safely deleted. The folder you are talking about is C:\WINDOWS\PCHEALTH\HELPCTR\DataColl and are the collection of historic
configuration data for viewing in System Information.

The PCHealth scheduler for data collection (pchschd.exe) which is the application
launched from the PCHealth entry in MSConfig and then thereafter by the Task
Scheduler. The collected data being saved in the files CollectedData

you can turn off PChealth in msconfig and these files won't be recreated
