Ik heb een hp pentium 4 processor 505 2,66 GHz 533 MHz bussnelheid level 2 cache 1024
en een moederbord ASUS PTGD1-LA front side bus 800 MHz
Nu heb ik een intel pentium D processor 945 3.4 GHz 800FSB en hij start niet op terwijl hij dat wel zou aankunnen ,ik heb hem opgestart maar hij doet niks terwijl als ik de oude processor erin zet hij zo opstart ?wie weet waar dat aan zou kunnen liggen .

Reset de bios eens eerst, en probeer het nogmaals, weet niet waar je de fsb insteld, indien op mobo, die eerst controleren.

Overigens vind ik bij Asus niets, bij dat nummer.

reset bios? ik weet wel hoe ik in de bios kom maar resetten ? bedoel je F 5 alles standaard instellen ?

moederbord gegevens staan bij HP.com mijn pc is hp pavilion a760.nl en dan in het engels moederbord gegevens
 
CLRTC op het moederbord, denkelijk onder die naam, zit in de buurt van de bios/batterij.

Met de voeding eraf, even de jumper op de andere pinnen zetten, 1-2, indien die nu op 2-3 zit, of andersom.
 
Waar staat trouwens dat je nieuwe cpu op je moederbord werkt?
 
ik had dat zover nagekeken

volgens de gegevens wat ze bij hp geven heb ik een FSb van 800 en max 3.4 GHz eventueel HT en socket 775

Hij staat als P5GD1 bij Asus, of een afgeleide daarvan, bij HP vind ik niets over het mobo, vergelijk eens, of geef een link.

Biosreset al geprobeerd? zit geen jumper voor de FSB, die wordt in de bios geregeld, indien die niet op auto was gezet.

Clearing the CMOS settings
CAUTION: Do not change any jumper setting while the PC is running. Damage to the motherboard may result.

Clear RTC RAM (3-pin CLRTC)
This jumper allows you to clear the Real Time Clock (RTC) RAM in CMOS. You can clear the CMOS memory of date, time, and system setup parameters by erasing the CMOS RTC RAM data. The onboard button cell battery powers the RAM data in CMOS, which includes system setup information.
Turn off the PC and unplug the power cord.
Move the CLRTC jumper cap from pins 1-2 (Normal) to pins 2-3 (Clear CMOS). Keep the cap on pins 2-3 for about 10 seconds, then move the cap back to pins 1-2.

Plug the power cord and turn on the PC.
CAUTION: Except when clearing the RTC RAM, never remove the cap from the default position. Removing the cap causes system boot failure!

Clearing the BIOS password
The BIOS password protects the BIOS from undesired changes. If password checking is enabled, and you need to disable it, use the following steps:
CAUTION: Do not change any jumper setting while the PC is running. Damage to the motherboard may result.

Turn off the PC and unplug the power cord.
Move the CLPWD jumper cap from pins 2-3 (Normal) to pins 1-2. Keep the cap on pins 1-2 for about 10 seconds, then move the cap back to pins 2-3.

CAUTION: Except when clearing the RTC RAM, never remove the cap from the default position. Removing the cap causes system boot failure!

ik moest daarnet effe weg maar nu zit ik er weer achter

kun je uit de vorige gegevens mij al iets vertellen voordat ik hem nu ga resetten ? anders doe ik dat zo meteen ? en alvast bedankt voor jullie hulp
 
Daar staat het duidelijk, en ook de biosreset, het is natuurlijk wel een oembord, dus of dat bord het kan, zie je pas na de reset, kan natuurlijk best zijn, dan het niet in die bios zit

Als dit bord hetzelfde is als diegene bij Asus, en dan ook exact hetzelfde, en staan er meer die er op lijken, dan kun je de bios van Asus gebruiken, maar dan moet hij, nogmaals, exact hetzelfde zijn, mocht de proc niet herkent worden, en het bord niet opstart.
 
hoe kan ik de fsb veranderen?

die processor 533 en tot 800 fsb hoe kan ik dat omzetten?
